The Shadebinder's Oath has managed to mix magic, knights, ancient secrets and the dead in an original and entertaining story. Cottrell initially writes each of the threads as separate sections but as the story continues the various plotlines become more and more entwined until they become one single finale.

Superb!

This is a really involving novel featuring a woman determined to find herself, and she certainly does, becoming a creature of legend. Both the New Hampshire countryside and the Shadow Lands are vividly described, especially the haunted house which stood in both. The subplot involving the house was as good as the main story line. The characters were equally vivid, the villains evil, and Nikki’s friends willful and colorful. This is a very gripping read.

Dominion is a book that doesn't fit easily into a neat genre niche...and it's very well done. The settings are strong, the protagonist is compelling, and the situation is altogether too real. It is not a comfortable thing to contemplate how one would react in Gilna's shoes--captured by an enemy after seeing one's own home and people destroyed. Jennifer Kennedy is not a woman to start off with a small canvas.

Finally, this is a page turner. I found myself sitting up late at night to finish just one more page and then one more after that.

The Magister’s Mask is a fast paced, gripping suspense with a shocking conclusion. Deborah Fredericks cunningly wrote a mystery full of magic, angry spirits, and politics. I hope that she will write about Shenza and her Garden City again.

The Fantasy Writer's Companion delivers on its promise to share the secrets for success within the Fantasy and Science Fiction genres. I recommend any future writers to dig in and take notes.

I love fantasy stories. I also enjoy crime/mystery stories so, for me, The Magister's Mask is a perfect combination of the two genres. This is a genre-spanning tale incorporating the best elements of a good murder-mystery with fantasy. And it's a stunningly good fantasy-mystery with a superb twist in its tail.

— Lesley Mazey, The Eternal Night

Tee Morris (author of Billibub Baddings and The Case of The Singing Sword) doesn't let his readers down! Not now...not in any book of his I've read. This story will have you rolling in laughter and groaning at the antics of a Highland Dwarf in prohibition era America.

— Brenna Lyons for ParaNormalRoamnce Reviews

Michael Mennenga (author of Dragon's Fire, Wizard's Flame) is a terrific young adult writer. Everybody's been looking for the next J.K. Rowling. Well here he is!

Robert J. Sawyer, Nebula Award Winning Author of HOMINIDS

The Complete Guide to Writing Fantasy is filled with insights, examples, anecdotes and advice, which any Fantasy writer can use to good benefit. Taken as a whole, The Complete Guide to Writing Fantasy is both an informative resource and a very entertaining read. It belongs on a shelf of anyone who is setting out to write in this challenging and popular genre.

renaissance Magazine, August 2003

MOREVI: The Chronicles of Rafe & Askana is an epic adventure. Traversing King Henry VIII's England to Naruihm, the land beyond a rift in the space time continuum, a unique fantasy world is created, as historical detail is juxtaposed against fantastic characters and surroundings.

Authors Lisa Lee and Tee Morris successfully weave an adventureous tale...MOREVI will engage the reader and keep one guessing until the very end.

— Carole Q. Piasecki of Renaissance Magazine

Dragon Reborn does more than continue the adventures of Lathwi; it captures the reader and takes them for a magic-carpet ride! I laughed, cried, squirmed in my seat and cried out warnings as I turned the pages of this wonderful work. This story truly has a life of its own, and evolves of its own accord. I closed the cover a little sad for it being over!

Midwest Book Review

Legends Of The Serai is a finely wrought piece of work that grips the reader from the first page. Cara's world is full of danger, and she leads the reader through a virtual labyrinth of sorcery, adventure, and fantasy. J.C. Hall is careful not to give too much away, thus opening the way for a series, much to the delight of the reader.

Legends Of The Serai is a gem that deserves a wide readership. J.C. Hall is a gifted writer with a strong vision. Her characters are complicated, and at the same time exude the luminous quality of fantasy. A real find.

After reading [Kathleen Nelson]'s first book (Daughter of Dragons), I didn't think I'd find one I'd like better.... but she did it. Human Thing brings out the "fighter" in all of us, and reminds us about what our identity is really all about. Another "can't put it down" read, which I encourage anyone to pick up — not just sci-fi lovers.

David [Sakmyster's Twilight of the Fifth Sun] has an impeccable sense of putting the reader right in the scenes. You feel the icy and blank stares of the ghosts Rebecca encounters. You are mesmerized by the daunting nature of Duncan, the pirate, and you are captivated by the visions David creates, both horrific, and spectacular.

Amy N. Brayer from Penfield, NY USA

Daughter of Dragons is fun, interesting, and …one of those books you can't put down. It is truly a great story!
