Manuscript Submission Requirements

A Message from the Publisher

Dragon Moon Press would like to thank you for your interest in submitting your manuscript for our review. After much thought and debate, we regret to inform you that we are closing submissions, except on a solicited basis, for the foreseeable future. All manuscripts already under review will still be considered by our readers, and we will notify you of our decision.

The submission process is a time-consuming one, and at the moment, we need to concentrate on developing and marketing the books we currently have under contract. If you are really serious about publishing with Dragon Moon Press, we will be accepting solicited manuscripts via referral from our authors and partners.

On a personal note, I never thought that we would be so overwhelmed with great books that we would be one of those presses that would have to stop the flood of manuscripts. I am very thankful to all of you for your ongoing support and encouragement. And while we are not accepting unsolicited manuscripts at this time, you should take it as a sign of great encouragement – it means that as authors you are doing a great job… that we are able to find such great gems amongst the thousands we get is a blessing, and a great part of the reason we are still around more than a decade after opening the doors to submissions. We are thankful to be finally turning the corner from unknown small press to a name within the genre, albeit a small name.
